Offa Long Run Home

Next year I will be running, walking, clambering, crawling, staggering etc along the Offa’s Dyke Path from Prestatyn to Trefonen.

Not quite the closest point to my house but closest to mine and my good friend Dave (Boyo) Jones’ house with a pub. There may be others involved.

The plan is simple, go to Prestatyn and walk home. 56 miles is in 24 hours or less.

We will commence on the 20th June 2026 and finish on the 21st, seeing a summer solstice sunrise. Start time 6pm finish time, hopefully before 6pm.

I will be raising funds for Alzheimers research.  You can sponsor one of my  specific miles or a whole hour first come first served and would will.

You will get your name on me sonewhere and listed on here and on my socials.

If you are feeling particularly generous for say £1000 (Negotiable) you can be my main sponsor for the whole event.

Update 24th October 2025

New wheels

Been potificating about which new news after this happened to me old ones. The ones I plumped for are Scott Speedtrac RC2 which I got for less that fifty quid at sportshoes.com. They recommended a half size small and I was bit skeptical as I have wide feed, but trusted them. Glad I did they are snugg but comfy. I think they are more designed for proper off road, the seem a little skittery on wed rocks and roots but that might be me being hyper focussed on them and may be the same as the previous Kalenji one.

I also love the subtle colours.
